    WORCESTER — A Worcester bakery has made it to the big time, crafting a custom cake and treats for Janet Jackson's Together Again concert tour.

    Taste Great Cakes was selected by Encore Catering, Live Nation Concerts, and Xfinity Center to create a unique confection for the musical event, according to a post on bakery's Facebook page.

    The cake's theme was not just about indulging a sweet tooth. It served a deeper purpose: celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of Jackson's album releases. The iconic singer's extensive discography has been a fixture on the airwaves for decades, and her current tour pays homage to this milestone in her career.

    Jackson performed at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on May 19th.

    The Hamilton Street bakery expressed its enthusiasm in a recent Facebook post. "We are super stoked to have done this and can't wait for the summer concert series to kick off!" the post reads.

    It's a noteworthy accomplishment for Taste Great Cakes, which has steadily made a name for itself in Worcester's culinary scene for its creative and delectable baked goods.
