Law firm replacing donut shop in Downtown Worcester

  • A law firm with an office in the city will take over the Downtown Worcester space previously occupied by a donut shop.

    Pellegrini, Seeley, Ryan and Blakesley will assume the space on the ground floor of 426 Main Street at Pleasant and Main streets.

    Multiple signs in the windows of 426 Main say the new location will open in the fall.

    The space has been vacant since Honey Dew Donuts closed in 2019.

    PSRB bills itself as a personal injury law firm. Its current location is a block away at 390 Main Street, according to its website.

    The city of Worcester issued a building permit on June 8th. The permit is for work to "renovate existing space" and "create offices in existing space 1st floors."

    Replacing the donut shop is not the only change coming to 426 Main. There will be 16 1-bedroom apartments in the top 4 floors. A permit for the $1 million renovation was issued in December 2020.
