Retail giant Amazon is nearly completed building a hiring center in Worcester, presumably for the distribution center it's constructing on the site of the former Greendale Mall.
The hiring center will be at the Trolley Yard at 287 Grove Street, according to a document on file with the city of Worcester.
A view of site Monday afternoon revealed the a Dumpster in front of suites 106 & 107 have been removed, and the interior walls erected and painted, and a large Amazon logo on one wall.
The fit-out of the space cost was estimated at $400,000, according to the building permit requested on May 2nd and granted May 17th.

Meanwhile, construction of the Amazon distribution center continues. The facility was scheduled to open as early as the fall, according to an article Spectrum News 1.
