Journalists to discuss business coverage in Worcester

  • WORCESTER — The Worcester Journalism Association will host a panel discussion on business journalism Wednesday at the Worcester Public Library.

    The event, “How Do You Cover Business?” is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 June 24th, likely in the library’s Banx Room. It is the first installment of Volume 2 of the “How Journalism Works” panel discussion series.

    Lisa Eckelbecker, a former business reporter for the Telegram & Gazette, will moderate the discussion.

    Panelists are Matt Baskin, assignment editor at GBH; Rachel Gow, reporter at the Telegram & Gazette; Brad Kane, editor of the Worcester Business Journal; and Dave Nordman, adviser to the Worcester Guardian and former editor of the Telegram & Gazette.

    The Worcester Journalism Association is a loose association of journalism and news media professionals. The series is coordinated by Victor D. Infante, features editor at the Telegram & Gazette and editor of Worcester Magazine.
