Team's Opening Morning on May 24th, Opening Nighton May 26th
Worcester - The Worcester Bravehearts have released their 2023 schedule. The schedule will feature 64 games, 32 of them to be played at Fitton Field.
For the first time in their history, the team will host an Opening Morning game. On May 24th, the Bravehearts will open at 10:30 am for a kids-only Baseball in Education Day where schools from across Central Mass. will take a field trip to see the Bravehearts play their first game of the season.
The team will then host their Opening Night on Friday, May 26th when they will play the reigning Futures League Champions Nashua Silver Knights. This game will feature their opening day ceremonies of the 10th Anniversary Season.
Worcester will host 2 more “You-Choose-The-Rules” games on their Baseball in Education Days on June 6th and 7th.
“We are extremely excited to bring back our You-Choose-The-Rules games to encourage kids from across Central Massachusetts to be creative and help make baseball a little more fun,” said Bravehearts Director of Fan Experience Donny Porcaro. “They were 2 of our most successful games last year, and we hope the rules can be even crazier this year.”
The team has bulked up on weekend games this season with 6 Friday games, 5 Saturday games and 6 Sunday games, giving fans more chances to see the Bravehearts play. The team will also host a Memorial Day matinee for the third consecutive season.
The Bravehearts final regular season home game will come on Saturday, August 5th, where they will take on the Vermont Lake Monsters.
“The 10th Anniversary season promises to be unforgettable,” said Bravehearts General Manager Dave Peterson. “Throughout the season we will be celebrating the last ten years of Bravehearts baseball, and the next ten as well. The future of the Bravehearts is bright.”
Worcester Bravehearts ticket plans are on sale now. If you would like tickets for 2023, contact the Bravehearts ticket office at 508-438-3773 or email Assistant General Manager Nate Gonelli at Nate@worcesterbravehearts.com.
