Worcester police seeks public's assistance in W.R.T.A. incident

    WORCESTER - The Worcester Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a male individual who is wanted for questioning in connection with an incident that took place at the end of November involving the Worcester Regional Transit Authority

    The department has released a photo of the male wearing a ball cap and is asking anyone with information on his identity to come forward.

    The department has several options available for individuals to share information anonymously. The public can send an anonymous text message to 274637 with the message "TIPWPD" followed by their information. Anonymous web-based messages can also be submitted on the Worcester Police Department's website at worcesterma.gov/police. Additionally, calls can be made to the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at (508) 799-8651.

    The investigation into the incident involving the W.R.T.A. is ongoing, and the department is asking anyone with information to come forward. The Worcester Police Department is dedicated to serving and protecting the community, and they need the public's help to resolve this case.
