Worcester Bravehearts mascot Jake the Lion attended the opening of several local Little Leagues over the weekend.
On Opening Weekend for a number of leagues, "Jake time traveled this morning to Jack Barry Little League, Leicester Little League, Holden Little League Softball/Holden Baseball, and George P. Gibbs Little League (Sterling) to kick off their Opening Day ceremonies," the team posted on social media on Saturday.
On Sunday, Jake was also on hand for the opening of the West Boylston Little League.
"Good luck to all the baseball and softball teams this season!" the team wrote.
