Oishi Japanese Restaurant, which specializes in sushi, will move to 422 Main Street, according to a Facebook post and a notice taped to its former location.
Oishi has closed its current location on Franklin Street and will reopen on Main Street
The restaurant announced on January 1st that, “Starting 1/1/22, we will be TEMPORARILY CLOSED as we are in the process of relocating into a bigger and better space! We plan to reopen at 422 MAIN STREET WORCESTER as soon as possible with a fully functioning kitchen and new menu items.”
A similar note was taped to the front of its Franklin Street location (below).
The space at 422 Main Street was previously occupied by a Subway franchise. It closed in 2020.
