Iconic Worcester restaurant selling its house Italian dressing

  • WORCESTER — Leo’s Ristorante, a beloved Worcester institution with roots tracing back over a century, recently announced that its signature House Italian Dressing is now available for purchase.

This 16-ounce bottle of flavor-packed dressing, priced at $10, allows customers to bring a taste of Italy into their own kitchens.

Founded by Leonard Turo in 1910, the Turo family has been a cornerstone of the Shrewsbury Street food scene for generations.

Originally starting as Turo’s Market, the family transitioned into the restaurant business in 1960 with the opening of the first Leo’s Restaurant. Today, the third generation continues the legacy of authentic southern Italian cooking at their larger location on Brackett Court.

The introduction of their House Italian Dressing for retail is yet another way Leo’s Ristorante is sharing its rich culinary tradition with the community, allowing fans to enjoy a piece of the Turo family’s history at home.
