Brody's Diner (Facebook)
Brody’s Diner on Route 20 is temporarily closed after an accident left the local eatery in an inoperable condition, the owners announced on social media.
A vehicle appeared to crash into the front of the diner, pushing the wall a foot or more.
According to a post shared Friday afternoon, no customers were inside at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported. Staff had just finished preparing to close for the day when the accident occurred.
“We appreciate your support as we try to navigate this time of uncertainty,” the post read. “Fortunately everyone was left unharmed. We hope to be back soon.”
The diner said it will remain closed until further notice. Updates on a potential reopening date will be shared on its Facebook page.
The owners also wished patrons a happy Mother’s Day and thanked the community for its continued support.
