WORCESTER — A popular Shrewsbury Street restaurant will be temporarily closed early this week to complete maintenance work, the restaurant announced Sunday.
Volturno Pizza, located at 72 Shrewsbury Street, posted that it will be closed Monday through Thursday, February 2nd to 5th, due to what it described as “unforeseen circumstances” requiring maintenance.
In a message shared on social media, Volturno apologized for the inconvenience and said it expects to reopen for the weekend.
“See you next weekend,” the post read, accompanied by pizza and pasta emojis.
Volturno is a popular Shrewsbury Street destination known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas and Italian dishes.
