Wachusett Regional High School (Google)
HOLDEN — An altercation at Wachusett Regional High School on Monday, October 2nd led to the arrest of a 17-year-old student, according to a Facebook post by the Holden Police Department.
The incident unfolded when the student, reportedly having a challenging day, struck the Holden Police School Resource Officer in the face. The department stated that the officer acted appropriately in response to the attack and subsequently placed the student into custody.
Following the confrontation, the student was transported to the Holden Police Station for processing.
As of now, the Holden Police Department has declined to provide further details about the incident. The school, however, has communicated with parents regarding the matter via email.
