Vandals trash West Boylston football field with their cars

    WEST BOYLSTON — Authorities in West Boylston are investigating after the town's practice football field was found vandalized on Saturday morning, December 30th.

    According to a police social media post, the field on Newton Street suffered significant damage due to multiple vehicles intentionally driving onto the grass, leaving deep tire marks and potentially harming the irrigation system.

    Chief of Police Dennis Minnich reported that the department has received several videos related to the incident. These videos have proven instrumental in the ongoing investigation, leading to the identification of at least 2 suspects.

    The police are currently in the process of interviewing the identified suspects. Minnich emphasized that while progress has been made, the investigation remains active and ongoing. The department urges anyone with further information about this incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
