MILLBURY — 3 people were arrested Wednesday, May 8th after allegedly stealing over $27,000 in merchandise from Kohl’s in Millbury, according to local police.
The Millbury Police Department reported that the day shift officers responded to a call from the retail store shortly after 11 a.m. when staff observed 3 female subjects actively concealing items. The suspects, who were driving a vehicle with out-of-state plates, attempted to flee the mall area but were quickly stopped.
A pair of adult women and 1 juvenile were taken into custody and face several counts of felony larceny and organized retail theft, a charge that could lead to a ten-year prison sentence.
The merchandise recovered from their vehicle totaled over $27,000. The juvenile suspect was taken to Worcester Juvenile Court, while the two adults were held overnight and appeared in Worcester District Court Thursday morning.
