AUBURN — Auburn police are investigating the theft of three vehicles stolen early Monday morning from a local parking lot and are asking the public for assistance in locating them.
Detectives believe at least two individuals were involved in the thefts, with each perpetrator having access to the vehicles’ keys. Authorities have not disclosed how the suspects obtained the keys or the specific parking lot where the thefts occurred.
"No we won’t tell you which lot, no we won’t tell you how the rapscallions obtained the keys," Auburn police wrote in a social media post on Thursday.
The stolen vehicles include a white 2025 GMC Yukon, a gray 2025 Chevy Suburban, and a white 2025 GMC Sierra.
While investigators are employing various methods to track the vehicles, including vehicle location technology, police say information from the public could help locate them more quickly.
Anyone with information about the thefts or the vehicles’ current whereabouts is urged to contact the Auburn Police Detective Bureau at 508-832-7777. Tips can also be sent via email or text to textatip@auburnmasspolice.org, and anonymity is available.
