A local brewery is building a new tap room it hopes to open in the spring.
Milk Room Brewing Company in Rutland announced a “[b]rand new tap room coming your way!!!,” in a recent Facebook post.

“We are in the process of renovating the lower barn into an epic new indoor space for you to enjoy.
“We are aiming for a spring completion date.”
Milk Room is located at Alta Vista Farm. It is Rutland's first farm brewery.
In addition to selling Bison meat, Milk Room sells beer including Fika Coffee Porter, Anna Maria Maple Pecan, Southwick's NE IPA, Mango Peach Seltzer and Pine Hill Pale Hill. Plenty of availability in Red Buffalo, White Buffalo, Hoppy Buffalo, Black Buffalo, Alta Vista, Rutland 205, Hillside Saison, Hefe-Bison, Slow Sunday, Marvin's Nut Brown and Round Bale.
