WORCESTER — The Worcester Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that left a 26-year-old male seriously injured.
The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Friday, July 19th. The victim was traveling east on June Street on an electric scooter when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
Surveillance videos captured the vehicle, described as a blue 4-door sedan equipped with fog lights and rims. The vehicle is expected to have damage on the front passenger side bumper, hood, or possibly the windshield.
The Worcester Police Department is continuing to investigate the case. They urge anyone with information about the incident to send an anonymous text to 274637, using the code TIPWPD, or to submit a web-based message at worcesterma.gov/police. Additionally, tips can be reported by calling the Worcester Police Crash Reconstruction Unit at (508) 799-8674.
