Robyn Kennedy and Joe Petty, Democratic candidates for the First Worcester District state Senate seat, will meet at a candidates forum on Monday, August 22nd at The Willows, 101 Barry Road in Worcester.
The forum will be moderated by Hank Stolz, host of Talk of the Commonwealth on the Radio Worcester Network); Ana Bottary, anchor at Spectrum News1; and former Worcester City Councilor Gary Rosen.
Kennedy and Petty are vying for the seat currently held by Harriette Chandler, who in January announced her retirement. The First Worcester District comprises part of Worcester, Berlin, Boylston, Northborough, and West Boylston.
Kennedy and Petty will answer questions from the panel and each other. Questions will not be taken from the audience.
Doors to the Willows' 135-seat capacity, the hall will open at 6 p.m. with the program running 6:30 to 8. Doors stay open until 8:30 to allow voters to talk to the candidates following the forum.
The forum will be livestreamed at www.radioworcester.com.
