    The former Bushel 'n Peck in Tatnuck Square will reopen Tuesday as Perry's Deli

    After a long wait, Perry's Deli will open on the site of the former Bushel 'n Peck in Tatnuck Square in Worcester. The deli will open on Tuesday.

    Perry's Deli made the announcement on social media on Wednesday.

    "It took an awful long time but New location opening Tuesday March 7!!" the post begins.

    The new location has been in the works for quite some time, and the anticipation among locals has been building steadily. While there won't be any ribbon-cutting ceremonies to mark the occasion, customers are invited to swing by and grab a bite.

    Perry’s Deli owner Perry Jano reached agreement to purchase the former Bushel 'n Peck in August, according to an article on ThisWeekInWorcester.com. Jano said at the time that he planned to open in October.

    Jano completed the purchase in early February, Worcester Business Journal reported.
