Toro Loco Taqueria opens at DCU Center in Worcester

  • WORCESTER – A new eatery has opened at the DCU Center.

Toro Loco Taqueria, a Mexican express eatery, has opened its doors downtown Worcester. The eatery, situated on a 1,200-square-foot corner spot at Foster and Commercial streets, is the former homes of gourmet doughnut maker Glazy Susan and Figs & Pigs.

Owners Miguel Perez and Denise Medina, who hail from Union de Tula in Jalisco, Mexico, promise authentic flavors based on cherished family recipes. The couple, together with their daughters Dalia and Diana, made the move from Southern California to Spencer over a decade ago.

“My childhood was filled with memories of my mother and grandmother cooking in the kitchen,” said Perez. “Their passion for food ignited my own, leading me to this journey as a restaurateur, deeply committed to serving the community.”

Toro Loco Taqueria offers a wide range of fresh Mexican delights, from homemade tacos and burritos to quesadillas and tortilla chips. Diners can also indulge in traditional desserts and enjoy beverages like Mexican aguas frescas and soft drinks.

A Grand Opening is set for the week of September 4th.
