As a result of the recent changes Spectrum made to local programing, WCCA TV is inviting all hosts of cancelled productions to reach out to them to continue hyper local news and information. In a statement provided by WCCA, their Executive Director, Mauro DePasquale noted the people of Worcester deserve to know what is happening and to hear from a variety of voices and perspectives regarding local news, activities, and events.
Shows such as The Mayor’s Forum and others listed in a T& G article in the Wednesday, December 18 th edition, provide insights and information pertinent to people who live in the 016 zip code and beyond. WCCA hopes to add to the diversity of their existing productions by adding those that were dropped by Spectrum. “We have reached out to many of the hosts of those dropped shows and some meetings are scheduled next week to confirm the details of bringing them here,” DePasquale said. “We are Worcester’s Public Access station at channel 194 and the shows which were unfortunately dropped, address many issues which impact the general public in Worcester”, he added.
“Stay tuned” for updates!
