  • Holden Police Department (Facebook)

Holden P.D. introduced its newest recruit, Officer Tully, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

Tully is a 3-month-old English Labrador Retriever, and the new partner of School Resource Officer Daniel Contois.

Tully was acquired by Officer Dan through Boonefield Labradors of Rindge, N.H., which is a highly recognized breeder of police comfort/therapy dogs who are known to have excellent temperament.

Boonfield Labs have comfort, therapy, trauma, and crisis dogs in several New England communities and schools who are partnered with School Resource Officers. Some of the local Boonefield Labs dogs include Hank in Lunenburg, Merle in Westminster, Moose in Amherst, Finn in Douglas, Odin in Fitchburg, and Luna with the Mass State Police.

Tully is currently in training, but you may see him around town or in the schools with Officer Dan.

Officer Tully has his very own Instagram Page (officer_tully) so go give him a like and a follow.
