HOLDEN — Holden police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying 2 people involved in a large theft at a Walgreens store on Shrewsbury Street on Saturday.
According to a statement from the Holden Police Department, the theft occurred sometime during the morning hours. Authorities did not specify what was taken but described the incident as a “significant larceny.”
The department also released 4 surveillance photos of the suspects, which appear to show 2 people inside the store during the time of the alleged theft. Police said they are hoping someone in the community can recognize the individuals and come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Holden Police Detectives Bureau at (508) 210-5613. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
“Your help is greatly appreciated,” the department said in its release.
No additional details were immediately available as the investigation remains ongoing.
