Randall Hodgkinson (Worcester Chamber Music Society)
WORCESTER – The Worcester Chamber Music Society is proud to present its latest Spotlight Concert featuring talented pianist Randall Hodgkinson.
The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15th at the BrickBox Theater, Jean McDonough Arts Center located at 20 Franklin Street in Worcester.
This solo appearance promises to be a highlight of the concert season, showcasing Hodgkinson's exceptional talent and interpretive skills as he performs two of the most challenging pieces in the piano repertoire. The program includes Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, BWV 998 and Frédéric Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 3 in B minor, Op. 58.
In preparation for the concert, Hodgkinson will host a special Artist Talk at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 12th at the WCMS office located at 323 Main Street in Worcester. During this talk, he will discuss the music he'll be performing and play excerpts on the piano. In-person seating for the Artist Talk is limited to 15 people and tickets are $10.
Tickets for the concert are available on the WCMS website (www.worcesterchambermusic.org) or by calling the office at (508) 926-8624. Ticket prices are $35-$38 for adults, $10 for college students with ID, $5 for EBT/WIC/ConnectorCare holders, and free for youth 17 and under.
