WORCESTER — The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts announced its 2025-2026 Broadway season Monday, unveiling a lineup featuring award-winning musicals, returning crowd favorites and a still-to-be-revealed comedy-inspired production.
The season will open October 14th to 19tth with SIX, the Tony® Award-winning pop musical that reimagines the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives through a high-energy concert of 21st-century girl power.
Broadway’s longest-running musical, Chicago, will follow January 9th to 11th, 2026, bringing its iconic blend of jazz, crime and dazzling choreography to the Main Street stage.
STOMP returns February 20th to 22nd with its signature mix of rhythm, movement and everyday objects. This new version includes updated segments and new routines involving paint cans and tractor tire inner tubes.
Next, The Music Man will take center stage May 15th to 17th. The classic American musical follows the antics of Professor Harold Hill, whose plan to con a small Iowa town hits a snag when he falls for the local librarian.
The season will conclude June 26th to 28th with a Broadway musical inspired by a popular comedy film, with details to be announced on September 22nd.
Broadway Series subscriptions, ranging from $111 to $451.60, are on sale now. Additional packages for The Hanover Theatre Repertory and the Dance Series are also available.
