CEO of country's second-largest bank to speak in Worcester

    Worcester -- Brian Moynihan, the CEO of Bank of America, the country's second largest bank, will come to Worcester to speak in March.

    Moynihan's appearance in the city is part of Worcester Economic Club's 2022-23 season, which was announced on Thursday.

    The club is following up on a successful 2021-22 season that includes such speakers as former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and DraftKings CEO and Founder Jason Robins.

    The 2022-2023 season schedule is as follows:

    • Thursday, September 15th: Cocktails and Networking, Mercantile Rooftop Bar & Restaurant
    • Wednesday, October 13th: Mara Liasson, National Political Correspondent for NPR, contributor for Fox News
    • Wednesday, January 11th, 2023: Jeffrey Mortimer, Mortimer Consulting Group
      Outlook 2022: Markets Update; How are the markets reacting to the mid-term elections
    • March 2023: Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America
    • April 2023: Crypto Currency: what is the future of this asset class
      (All meetings take place at The Hogan Center on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross with the exception of the first networking event which will be held at the Mercantile Rooftop Bar & Restaurant)

    The Worcester Economic Club, founded in 1903, has hosted past speakers including U.S. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Governors, Senators, and Journalists including Winston Churchill, Milton Friedman, Alan Greenspan, and many other nationally respected leaders. Membership is open to all, and the only way to guarantee admission into these events.

    The standard membership is $350 although if you register before September 14th , it’s discounted to $300 and includes one guest pass for the season. A “Morgan Membership” for $700 gets you enhanced networking opportunities and five guest passes for the season. A young professional and/or student membership (age 40 or younger) is $225 and includes five guest passes.
