Danielle Holden of Worcester won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Mega Money” instant ticket game.
Holden opted to receive her prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). She plans on purchasing a house and a car with her winnings.
She bought her winning ticket at St. Charles Hotel at 126 West Main Street in Millbury.
The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
