Popular Park Ave. restaurant closing for good

    WORCESTER - The owners of 2 popular Park Avenue restaurants announced on social media Friday that they are closing one for good after Valentine's Day.

    Tuesday will be the final day for Saké Bomb Bistro at 258 Park Ave., a post on Facebook reads. The closure is due to the tough economic environment and staffing issues, according to the post.

    Saké Bomb's closing will not affect the owner's other restaurant, Wan Wan at 401 Park Ave. Wan Wang opened in October 2019 on the site of the former Ho Toy, according to an article on This Week in Worcester.

    Saké Bomb has been a staple in the Worcester community for years. The restaurant has earned a loyal following of customers and a good reputation that has earned it 4.4 stars on Facebook and 4.3 on Google Reviews.
