Rice Violet restaurant at 287 Main Street (GOOGLE)
A Downtown Worcester restaurant that has been closed for a week will remain closed through the month of March, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page.
Rice Violet at 287 Main Street announced last Monday that it was closed "for HVAC repair and maintenance," according to a post. "We will let you know as soon as we have a definite date to re-open, but hopefully not too long."
On Thursday, the longtime Thai kitchen posted an update that it needs a new system and fire panel.
"We will be closed until March 31st to replace a new HVAC system and fire panels. We plan to open April 1st if all goes well with the inspection to re-open."
