WORCESTER — A popular Worcester restaurant is warning customers about unauthorized gift cards being sold online by a third-party company.
Nancy Chang, a well-known Asian fusion eatery, said in a statement that it is not affiliated with the seller and cannot honor the unofficial gift cards.
“It has been brought to our attention that a third-party service has been selling gift cards to our restaurant,” the restaurant posted on social media recently. “We are not affiliated with this company and these are not official Nancy Chang gift cards.”
The restaurant urged customers to purchase all gift cards directly through its official channels to avoid confusion or disappointment.
“We thank you for your understanding in this matter,” the statement read.
