Rutland P.D. seeks public's help in attempted break-in

    The Rutland Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle linked to an attempted break-in that occurred on Saturday, March 4th, around 8:30 p.m. According to a Facebook post, the authorities are looking to speak with the driver of a 2020 Ford Edge that was seen in the area where the incident happened.

    The vehicle, which has no front license plate, is believed to have distinctive green LED headlights. The police have released a photo of the car in the hope that someone recognizes it or has information that can help the investigation. The vehicle may have been spotted in the neighborhood pictured in the photo, but the police did not disclose its exact location.

    Sgt. Todd Chauvin and Officer Jessica Deschamps are the investigators in charge of the case.
