AUBURN — Auburn police's K9 and drone units found a missing 20-year-old man who was unconscious in the woods early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, Auburn police responded to a report of a missing intoxicated man believed to be somewhere in a wooded area, according to a release from the Auburn Police Department.
The young man had been drinking at a gathering and had separated from his friends hours earlier, authorities said.

Auburn officers David Ljunggren and his K9 partner Biza, along with officers Laskes and Geldart from the department’s drone unit, were dispatched to aid in the search, which initially turned up no signs of the man.
K9 Biza was deployed and began to search the area, eventually picking up a scent and leading officers about 250 yards to 300 yards into the woods, police said. There, they found the man unconscious on the ground.
Officers administered aid, and the man regained consciousness before being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Sgt. Tarckini Jr., Officer Crowley, Officer McLaughlin, and Officer Rattray also assisted in the rescue effort.
