Popular Worcester bar announces reopening

    Loft 266, a popular bar at 266 Park Ave. in Worcester, announced it will fully reopen on March 3rd.

    “We're happy to announce that we're finally opening with no restrictions, no masks, no need to order food just to drink, and the best part... WE'RE BRINGING BACK ENTERTAINMENT!”, the bar posted on Facebook on Sunday afternoon.

    Reopening on March 3 means Loft 266 will be open for the Worcester County St. Patrick’s Parade, which will be held on March 13 for the first time since 2019 because of the pandemic.

    Loft 266 had previously been approved for a one-day liquor license and a one-day entertainment license for background music on parade day, according to an article on telegram.com.

    The club also announced on Sunday a full schedule that includes Music Bingo and DJs on Thursdays, karaoke and DJ’s on Friday and DJs on Saturday.

    “We can NOT wait to see you!”, the bar posted.
