  • Trip to CVS ends with woman, Worcester man arrested in stolen car


    Worcester police arrested a woman from Auburn and a Worcester man on Tuesday morning, according to a press release from WPD.

    The incident began when officers saw a Toyota make a sudden turn into the CVS on Lincoln Street.

    Police ran the plate, which showed the car was stolen.

    Officers called for backup and waited as the driver, Sonia Bracero, 38, of Auburn, went to CVS.

    Police then stopped the passenger,42-year-old Juan Gildelamadrid of Bowdoin Street, who tried walking away.

    Gildelamadrid, who had 3 outstanding warrants, was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Bracero was also arrested for receiving a stolen motor vehicle as well as use of a motor vehicle without authority and a suspended license.
