Career criminal in Worcester caught with 14 guns, meth

  • WORCESTER - On Tuesday, March 21st, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers executed a search warrant at a Kinney Drive residence, leading to the arrest of 56-year-old Alexander Shtudiner, a known career criminal found in possession of 14 guns.

    At approximately 6:20 p.m., officers entered the apartment and found Shtudiner, who was detained during the search.

    Officers discovered a large amount of what appeared to be Methamphetamine, along with packaging materials. Additionally, they found an array of firearms, which included 6 handguns, 5 rifles, and 3 shotguns. One of the shotguns was sawed-off, further raising the officers' concerns.

    Shtudiner, who does not have a license to carry firearms, now faces a series of charges. These include Trafficking in a Class B Substance (Methamphetamine) 18-36 Grams, Possession of a Sawed-Off Shotgun, two counts of Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, thirteen counts of Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, and Armed Career Criminal 1.
