5 Johns busted in sting at Worcester hotels: W.P.D.

  • WORCESTER — The Worcester Police Department, in cooperation with the Department of Homeland Security and Burlington Police Department, conducted a sting operation Thursday aimed at deterring internet-based human trafficking in the city.

    The sting operation focused on people who utilized online platforms to set up meetings at local hotels, intending to purchase sex.

    5 men were arrested, charged with paying for sexual conduct.

    Those arrested include 39-year-old Micah Love-Allotey, 29-year-old Vincent Phan, 75-year-old Arthur Gallant from Boxboro, 30-year-old Sylvester Konadu, and 38-year-old Kyle Fisher, all from Worcester.

    The Worcester Police Department stated they plan to continue working with the Department of Homeland Security and local law enforcement agencies on similar sting operations in the future. These operations will expand to include private residences as well as hotels within and around the city of Worcester.

    Details about the arrested individuals' court dates have not yet been released.
