City home invasion victims clobbered with kitchen pan, 4 busted

  • WORCESTER — 4 individuals, including 2 minors, were arrested Thursday following an investigation into a violent home invasion Sunday in Worcester, according to Worcester police.

    Worcester police officers responded to a call about the incident on Houghton Street around 1:30 a.m. on June 25th. The officers found evidence of forced entry and signs of a physical attack on the residents.

    The investigation was given to detectives who identified 36-year-old Samantha Houle, 18-year-old Damien Zevallos, and 2 boys as the main suspects. Arrest warrants were issued on June 28th for 5 counts each of home invasion and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the weapon in question being a kitchen pan.

    All suspects were apprehended on Lodi Street on Thursday. Houle was found to have an additional active arrest warrant out of Connecticut.

    Zevallos was found carrying a loaded handgun in a fanny pack. Without a firearms license, additional charges were brought against him including possession of a large capacity gun, carrying a loaded gun, carrying a gun without a license, possession of a large capacity feeding cevice, and possession of ammunition without an F.I.D. card.

    The Worcester Police Department has not released any information about the condition of the home invasion victims. The investigation continues.
