Worcester police investigate early morning stabbing on Main St.

  • WORCESTER — A 46-year-old man is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed on Main Street in the early hours of Friday, September 22nd.

    Worcester Police Department officers were dispatched to the vicinity of Main and Castle streets at approximately 5:20 a.m. following reports of a stabbing.

    Officers found the victim and promptly administered first aid. The injured man was subsequently transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

    The incident is currently under investigation by W.P.D. detectives, who are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
