Teen shot on North Main Street in Worcester

  • WORCESTER — A teenager was shot on Main Street in Worcester late Monday afternoon, prompting an intensive investigation by the Worcester Police Department.

    Worcester Police Department reports that officers were called to the vicinity of 2 Main Street around 4:30 Monday afternoon following reports of gunfire.

    They found an 18-year-old male with gunshot wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital with injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

    Detectives have since taken over the scene, conducting a thorough examination and initiating a follow-up investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
