Worcester police arrest man after bloody Union Station fight

    WORCESTER — A 29-year-old man was arrested at Worcester's Union Station after reportedly assaulting another individual and subsequently attempting to evade police custody on Wednesday morning.

    According to the Worcester Police Department, officers were called to the scene at approximately 11:15 a.m. following reports of a fight in front of the station. Upon arrival, they encountered a 35-year-old male victim with a bloody face.

    The investigation revealed that Ahjee Keyon Damon, the suspect, had allegedly kicked the victim multiple times in the head. During the arrest process, officers discovered that Damon had an active warrant and found him in possession of what appeared to be several bags of a class A substance and crack cocaine.

    Damon attempted to flee and resisted arrest but was ultimately detained. He faces charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, and resisting arrest.
