Wanted man arrested for touching child at Coes Pond: W.P.D.

  • WORCESTER — Worcester police officers arrested a man on Wednesday who has been the subject of multiple community complaints after he allegedly behaved inappropriately toward a child at Coes Pond.

    Police were dispatched to Coes Pond on Wednesday, August 7th following a report of a man touching a minor inappropriately. Officers learned that the incident had been interrupted by 3 men who followed the suspect to an address and called the police.

    The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, has been the subject of numerous complaints for similar incidents and had an active arrest warrant for a related offense. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and is facing new charges related to the recent incident.

    Due to the nature of the charges, no further information will be released, according to the Worcester Police Department.
