Police name William Rodriguez person of interest in deaths at Webster Square Towers

WORCESTER — Worcester police are investigating the deaths of 2 women found in an apartment at Webster Square Towers on Saturday afternoon.
Worcester police named William Rodriguez a person of interest in the deaths at 1060 Main Street. Police say Brown should be considered armed and dangerous. He is 59 years old, 6-foot-2, 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, according to police. His last know address was 40 Belmont Street in Worcester.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. after receiving a report of 2 dead people inside the residence.
Upon arrival, police discovered 2 women who had sustained multiple puncture wounds. Worcester E.M.S. pronounced both victims dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, and the investigation is ongoing. Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward. Tips can be sent anonymously via text to 274637 with the code TIPWPD followed by the message. Additionally, web-based tips can be submitted at worcesterma.gov/police, or individuals can contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau directly at (508) 799-8651.
