WORCESTER — The Worcester Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an April homicide.
Lino Menjivar, 30, is wanted for the murder of an individual in the area of Allendale Street on April 13th. Menjivar is considered armed and dangerous.
Police describe Menjivar as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and face tattoos. He is of Hispanic descent and may be known by the alias "L." Authorities believe his last known location was in Virginia, though his exact whereabouts are currently unknown.
In addition to the murder charge, Menjivar faces charges of carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling. Police have not yet recovered the firearm involved in the incident.
Anyone with information on Menjivar's location is urged to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at 508-799-8651. Anonymous tips can also be submitted via text by sending "TIPWPD" and the message to 274637 or online through the Worcester Police Department’s website at worcesterma.gov/police.
