WORCESTER — A Worcester man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man found Saturday in the woods of Hubbardston, authorities said.
Ryan Wilcox, 32, faces charges including armed assault with intent to kill, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.
Police discovered the body of Mitchell Burke, 32, of Worcester, just before 10 a.m. off Brigham Street in Hubbardston. Hubbardston Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the district attorney’s office are leading the investigation.
Wilcox is set to be arraigned Monday in Worcester Central District Court.
Authorities are continuing to investigate Burke’s death. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Massachusetts State Police at 508-832-9124.
