Venerini Academy to hold 80th anniversary gala

  • WORCESTER — Venerini Academy, a beacon of Catholic education in Worcester County, is excited to announce its 80th Anniversary Gala, to be held on Saturday, May 10th at Holy Cross College.

    This milestone celebration will honor eight decades of excellence and pay tribute to the visionary leadership of Sister Carol Skehan, whose progressive approach has left an indelible mark on the Academy.

    Sister Carol Skehan, known for her trailblazing spirit, has been a driving force behind transformative change at Venerini Academy. From championing the introduction of the school’s first computer lab to embracing new teaching methods and innovations, she ensured the school always stayed ahead of the curve. Her unwavering commitment to progress and her belief in the importance of preparing students for the future have inspired countless educators and students alike.

    In honor of her remarkable contributions, Venerini Academy is establishing the Sister Carol Skehan Endowment Fund, which will support the school’s scholarship program. This fund will help provide access to the exceptional education that has been the hallmark of Venerini Academy for 80 years.
