WORCESTER — A suspect has been arrested in connection with the April 2024 shooting death of Bob Nuah on Allendale Street, closing the final unresolved homicide case of that year in Worcester, police said Friday.
Lino Menjivar, 31, of Jefferson Street, was taken into custody in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, earlier in the day following a multi-agency investigation, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Detectives developed probable cause to charge Menjivar after an extensive inquiry into Nuah’s killing on April 13, 2024. Authorities located Menjivar with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, U.S. Marshals Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and the Pawtucket Police Department.
“I want to thank the men and women of the Worcester Police Department, and our partner agencies, for their dedication and nonstop resilience in solving this homicide and bringing some closure to the Nuah family,” said Chief Paul Saucier in a statement.
Menjivar is expected to face extradition to Massachusetts.
