Drag racing on Worcester road shared on YouTube

    A video recently shared on YouTube shows cars drag racing on a Worcester Road.

    The 2-minute, 2-second video, "508 mass racing," was uploaded on May 18 and shot, according to the video, on May 16.

    It begins with an apparent race on a highway that appears to be Route 2.

    The video switches to another location before the location moves to a Worcester road.

    At the 1:03 mark of the video, cars appear to be drag racing on North Frontage Road in Worcester, which runs parallel to Interstate 190 and is between I-190 and Saint Gobain.

    Five races are caught on video on that road.

    The video comes amidst a state police crackdown on speeders in Central Mass. The Mass. State Police reported on Friday that they cited 36 drivers going better than 90 mph and 4 going faster than 100 during a recent sweep in Central Mass.
