Mass. State Lottery
WORCESTER — A Worcester woman has won a $25,000-a-year-for-life prize in the multi-state Lucky for Life game, the Massachusetts State Lottery announced Wednesday.
Brenda Donnelly claimed her prize at Lottery headquarters in Dorchester after the first 5 numbers on her Quic Pic ticket matched those drawn on Monday. She chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $390,000 before taxes.
Donnelly said she plans to use the winnings to take a trip and to support her daughter and grandchildren.
She purchased the winning ticket at Shaw’s supermarket, located at 68 Stafford St. in Worcester.
