WORCESTER — A man previously sought by Worcester police in connection with a Russell Street break-in has been arrested following an early morning incident at a convenience store, according to the Worcester Police Department.
Officers responded shortly before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 6th, to a Park Ave. convenience store for a reported alarm and found the front door shattered with glass scattered on the ground. Police determined that more than $2,000 in scratch tickets, along with cigarettes and sodas, had been stolen.
After reviewing surveillance footage, officers spotted the suspect less than 2 hours later on Foster Street heading toward Washington Square. Police stopped the man and observed he was carrying a bag from the store containing scratch tickets, soda and cigarettes.

Dillon Gloss-Porzio, 34, was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200, breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony and vandalism.
Police said Gloss-Porzio was also wanted in connection with a separate breaking and entering on Russell Street on April 21th, the same incident for which authorities had earlier asked for the public’s help identifying a suspect.
