WORCESTER — The Tatnuck Neighborhood Association will hold its next meeting Wednesday, May 27th, at Worcester Regional Airport to say goodbye to longtime airport director Andy Davis.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., according to a post from the association.
Davis is retiring effective July 3rd after more than 40 years in the airport industry, including the past 18 in Worcester, the association said.
The group said it has held an annual meeting at the airport with Davis for the past 17 years, since Massport acquired Worcester Regional Airport.
“We will surely miss Andy, but he has more than earned his retirement,” the association said. “Filling his shoes will be very hard to do!”
Massport is searching for Davis’ replacement, according to an article in MassLive.
